Josiah was the Clinical Lead for Oral Surgery at the Eastman Dental Hospital for over 10 years and currently is lead trainer for the NHS training programmes in the Department.

He completed his higher specialist training programme in Academic Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the highly prestigious Kings College and Guys & St Thomas’ Hospitals in 2009. He was appointed to the prestigious post of NHS Consultant in Oral Surgery in May 2010.

Josiah has been involved in academic research (the management of patients at risk of medication related osteonecrosis of the jaws and hard tissue augmentation for dental impantology) and has published widely within the specialty of Oral Surgery. He is interested in and practices across the broad spectrum of Oral Surgery, to include the following:
