Dipti is our resident Endodontist. Her expertise allows her to deal with teeth that have complex endodontic (root canal related) problems, meaning she can save teeth that may otherwise need to be extracted. She has extensive experience in providing root canal treatment and retreatment, apical surgery and dealing with traumatic injuries to the teeth.  Her enthusiasm for her specialty is reflected in the results she achieves and her compassionate approach ensures an excellent patient experience.

After graduating from King's College London in 2004 Dipti went on to complete the Royal College of Surgeons (England) Membership examinations in 2006.  Following a successful period as a General Dental Practitioner, during which time she trained junior dentists; she completed her specialist training in Endodontics at the prestigious UCL Eastman Dental Institute to Distinction level, being awarded the Dentsply Maillefer Award for Endodontology in her final year.  Dipti became registered as a “Specialist in Endodontics” in 2015 after obtaining the Membership in Restorative Dentistry (Endodontics) from the Royal College of Surgeons (England). 

 

Her research interests include the outcome of endodontic surgery, for which she was awarded a national prize from the British Endodontic Society (BES) and she has recently been part of the team who wrote the national guidelines for the Royal College of Surgeons (England) on endodontic surgery. As a keen believer in continuing to advance her and her peers knowledge, Dipti currently heads the Langham Endodontic Study Group.  Her passion for her specialty has led her to be heavily involved on the BES Council as Assistant Honorary Secretary.
